The upper material of the Bernina 2 is made of robust nubuck leather with a wax handle.
Leather was used for the inner lining.

Due to the high moisture absorption and comfortable fit of a leather-lined shoe, long walking with well-tempered feet is possible.

The soft cushioning Comfort Fit footbed consisting of cork and fleece, is removable and also has a climate-regulating effect and offers high wearing comfort.

The Bernina is worked over a wide last and is ideal for anyone who wants more space and volume in the toe area.
The midsole is connected to the sole by a Velcro strip.

If you take them out, you get even more volume in the forefoot area.
The Meindl Multigrip3 Alpin Light sole from Vibram has a self-cleaning tread and offers a lot of safety and stability and optimal cushioning.

The inner soles are removable.

The Bernina 2 is an ideal companion for demanding hikes or trekking tours, even on poor hiking trails or climbs.
